What Causes Heavy Bleeding With Clots And Painful Cramps During Periods?

Does it really matter if you were not already on birth control pills if you go ahead and start them prior to starting your next period. My periods are horribly bad.....horrible bleeding, excessive passing of clots and extremely painful cramps and I would like to just go ahead and start them now.

The pain is produced uterine vasoconstrictions anoxia andsustained contractions mediated by prostaglandins if pelvic examination is normal between menses examination during menses may produce discomfort but there are no pathological findings nsaids are generally helpful themedications should be started 1or 2 days before expected menses it is better scanmdone to rule out any pathology without pathology nsaids are sfe and helpfull othe wise medroxyprogestero e acetate or orals with nsaids vitamin b1 100mg daily vtamin e 200 units high frequency transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation
