What Causes Heaviness In Ear When Diagnosed With Hole In Ears?
Hii Sir. I have a hole in my right ear since 5 years. Last week i feel my ear getting heavy etc so i go for Dr. Dr said take these drops and come on after 3 days i insist dr i can t come again and again so do it whatever you wanan do.He said if i did right now you will feel pain in your ear. So he clean my ear after that i feel that my ear is getting open. But when i reached home i feel some blood in my ear I think wound in my ear. Kindly suggest me what i do now And dr said if you go operation chances are 40% for successful. Otherwise it will effect more hearing.

You are having hole in tympanic membrane....
You might have otitis media secondary to perforation... So given some Ear Drops and collected debris and wax removed that might lead some bleed...
You might have developed cholesteatoma like condition in which improvement not good..
Although your hearing might not improve fully after operation but if it operation not done than there might be progression of damage in ear....
But decision of operation and success rate decided after examination, hearing test etc..
Advise : Consult ENT surgeon for examination. If needed examination from other ent doctor done for more work up
