What Causes Heaviness And Increased Ptosis Post Surgery?

I am 45 years old and this is the first surgery I ve had for ptosis. I had a mullerectomy performed 3 weeks ago on left eye for congenital ptosis. Pre op drop the surgeon put in showed a good result, but now my eye looks worse than before surgery. Was the drop test he did wrong? Will it ever raise, it feels heavier now than before. Please help

After Mullerectomy it takes some more time for the Ptosis to go away.

Yes it will definitely raise.

No his testing was not wrong. It will improve gradually and you will feel better soon. Muscles will regain strength and there will be improvement in nerve conduction too.

Keep taking the post operative medications especially eye multivitamins that will help nerve regeneration and will imrove eye functioning too.
