What Causes Heat Sensation All Over Body After Taking Flu Shot?
My husband and I took a flu shot yesterday at noon; by 9:15 PM He became very hot. It started at top of his head and went down his body; it lasted for a few minutes; I checked his blood pressure it was 150/90 then hotness subsided and bp was finally down to 135/78. In a few minutes it happened again and this time while he was very hot, BP was 174/90. I said he should go to ER and maybe the pills he had taken at Supper had reacted with the flu shot. he had taken around 7PM one Prednisone 5 MG and one carpammazine. ER doc ran blood work, EKG and monitored his heart on a machine for some time and BP maintained aprox 134/80 while he was there and no more Hot experiences ER doc said he guess it was a side affect of flu shot. What do you think happened?

It is quite possible that the symptoms are related to the flu injection he received.
The effects are usually short lasting so he should be okay. If he continues to be unwell then he would need to be reassessed.
