Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi,

This could be episodic tachycardia, like psvt or atrial fibrillation. So I guess your ECG was normal. In this condition, heart rate suddenly goes up and bp falls. You will need evaluation like ecg, thyroid test and holter monitoring. You should also get one hemoglobin levels done. So visit a nearby cardiologist for these investigation. Also, to abort such episodes you should try to cough hard.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sagar Makode
