What Causes Heart Palpitations, Variable Heart Rates And Fingers Tremor?

Respected Sir I am a male 26. From last 4-5 years I am feeling uncomfortable in my chest. While even at rest I can feel my heart beating sometimes too fast. Sometimes it feels like heart skipped a beat or sometimes there are 2-3 extra beats. once or twice in a month I feel a very minor movement in my heart that someone just poked my heart. A kind of wave from top to bottom of heart. I have visited doctors 3-4 times during this period. ECG, Holter and doppler test reports are normal. However even at clinics, doctors noticed by heart beats increased for around 20 seconds then to normal. Again it increases for 10-15 seconds then its normal. Moreover at home while resting, specially around 10-11PM or in morning I feel my heart is beating too loud. When I measure my heart rate by looking at clock, it turns out to be 60-75/min. I am very confused. Every Doctor I visited gave me some multivitamins and said there is nothing to worry. But from last couple of months I can feel minor vibrations in my first and second fingers of left hand. While right hand is okay. Please let me know what should I do. Is there any test that can make me sure if I am having a disease or not? However I am an over-thinker. Something always keeps going in my mind (that I never do or never did.) I noticed there is not even a minute when I am not thinking anything series. Not sure if its only me or its normal. Please guide.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi,

After going through your medical details I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that if your all cardiac workup came out normal then it can be your anxiety which is causing you palpitations. It is recommended for you to consult a psychologist for anxiety.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap,
