Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

To know the exact pattern of arrhythmia ,you have to undergo ECG with long lead II recording for 2 minutes and if indicated Holter monitoring. Ventricular premature beats may be causing missed beat feeling due to compensatory pause following the extra beat.During day time sinus rate is usually high and is acting as over-drive pacing to suppress the ectopics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
