What Causes Headaches, Redness In Eyes, Tiredness And Weakness?

Ive been having bad headaches for over 2 weeks where my eye and eye brow feel sore to the touch. As of today i woke up from a nap and my eyes felt cross eyed...i looked in the mirror and they appeared to be straight but i still feel a pulling sensation in my left eye. I feel extremely tired even after sleeping for more than 8 hours. I m weak and have a hard time thinking about things too long. I m sensitive to light and my body reflexed seem to be much slower. What can this be? I am a 27 year old female.

Hello,

A headache which is continuous for 2 weeks is something that needs medical attention. Have you taken any medicines for headache relief? I would advise you to see a neurologist as a long-standing headache needs to be examined to find out the underlying cause behind it.

Your doctor might advise you to get some diagnostic tests done after doing a physical examination and asking related history. There are different causes that lead to symptoms like frontal headache along with strain on the eyes. Once all the test results come your doctor will be able to guide you on management of the pain. Till then you will be prescribed appropriate medicines to get relief from symptoms. Also make sure to avoid things that make it worse. Wear sunglasses while you go out. So pay a small visit to your doctor soon.
