Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms you mentioned are definitely of withdrawal from Venlafaxine. You have not mentioned why Venlafaxine was started for you. Did your treating psychiatrist told you to stop it or you yourself stopped it? Now you have again started taking it, then I would recommend to continue it.

Venlafaxine is usually given for depression or anxiety disorder which requires very long treatment. So don’t reduce or stop it without consulting your psychiatrist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prashant Gohil
