General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern.

Headache is commonly found in people after lumbar puncture due to leak of fluid in the nearby tissue.

Back pain is also common after lumbar puncture.
All these symptoms will be fading in the next few days.

Continue drinking a lot of water, take caffeine and meloxicam as prescribed by your doctor until fully recovered.

Wish fast recovery.
