What Causes Headaches And Diarrhea After Gastric Sleeve Surgery?
I had the gastric sleeve 01/26/26 and I ve been sick for two days now with a bad headache, dry heaving, and diarrhea. I went to the walk in today and he gave me a shot of rocephine and phenegran and sent me home. I can t eat and can barely drink without my stomach burning. My kidneys are hurting and my urine is dark in color. I m not sure if I should go to the ER?
Check creatanine and uria for kidney function. As you have done SurgicalTreatment for obesity .I want to know whether it is laparoscopysleeve gastrectomy or other procedures done.In laparoscopy procedures we reduce stomach to about 15-20% of its original size. After this process you should be on high protein and low fat diet .You should add multivitamin iron, and calcium twice a day.Ursodial should be given to minimize the risk of developing of gall stones during rapid weight loss. You should avoid chewy meats and other foods that may inhabit normal emptying of stomach .After 6 months do a nutritional and metabolic blood test in fasting of 12 hours to see any nutritional deficit. It should be repeated every 6 months.Do as I told avoid unnecessary medications .
