Hi,

Yes, your symptoms are most probably due to the trauma you had. Cervical cord compression can lead to such symptoms such as neck pain and pain radiating to the arms with altered sensations. If I would have been you're doctor I would advice you to go for a for a fresh MRI scan of cervical spine.

As per your query the condition is definitely treatable with treatment ranging from conservation regime which involves wearing a cervical collar with taking care of posture along with administration of pain killers and drugs for peripheral neuropathy like Gabapentin.

While the surgical treatment involves cervical cord decompression which involves removal of the collapsed disc. If I would have been in your position I would definitely go to a neurosurgeon to have my condition treated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
