What Causes Headaches Along With Vertigo?

Hello,I have a concern.I haven t been feeling well. Getting headaches, which is mainly on the center and back right hand side. I am also experiencing occasional vertigo and problems with my vision. I had an MRI a couple of years ago was reported to be ok (white matter disease but was told that is normal for my age). I am 52, have osteoporosis (no meds) and hypothyroid ( taking meds).

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A history of white mater disease proven on MRI with current vertigo and problems with vision are suggestive of a degenerative condition called multiple sclerosis (MS).
MS is a degenerative condition wherein there is destruction of white mater of brain.
MS is a progressive condition and there is involvement of optical nerve causing problem related to vision.
Vertigo can be due to involvement of auditory nerve.
Headache can also occur due to the same degenerative process.
I suggest you to consult your physician for clinical assessment and a fresh MRI.

Thanks and take care
