What Causes Headaches Along With Pain In Neck And Ear?

Hi, I have been having headaches and neck and ear pain, but yesterday suddenly I felt a pop in my right ear and the head ache and pain went completely away. Also, everything sounded so much louder. Today the neck pain and headache is starting to come back, but so far very mild. Is this something to be concerned about?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
From the symptoms you are complaining of headache, neck and ear pain, it appears that you must be having infection of middle ear. It is called 'acute otitis media'.
Due to the primary pathology in the ear, it is causing other symptoms like headache and pain in the neck.
You need to take antibiotic course of Amoxicillin and Clauvulanic acid combination tablet twice a day for 5 days after food. Along with this take Tablet.Ibuprofen with Paracetamol combination twice daily for 5 days.
Also take Syrup with composition of Bromhexine Hydrochloride, Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Guaifenesin two tea spoons thrice daily.
Do salt water gargling with warm water twice daily for 5 days. Avoid eating or drinking cold items.
Your symptoms should subside in about 3 days.
