What Causes Headaches Along With Earache And Dizziness?

Could you explain inflammatory sinus disease of the right sphenoid and mucoperiosteal thickening of the right sphenoid sinus. These are the results of an MRI I had due to a very awful headache I had in one spot (right side of head). After the headache I developed ear pain, eye pain, and dizziness-- all on the right side. I haven t had any typical sinus issues, no recenr colds or runny nose or anything. I am 25 and this is my first ever sinus issue. The headache started 2 weeks and 3 days ago. I have been prescribed 60mg prednisone for 5 days then tapering off for 10, 8 day course of amoxicillin, and flonase.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, this all story, i.e. your symptoms and the MRI report confirms that there inflammation in one of your sinus. This is mostly not serious. And most of the times resolved with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines. That has already been prescribed to you. So I hope it will be cleared with the given treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
