Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had several epidural injection in my back and one in my neck about week later I have gotten a headache that will not go away it moves around different areas in my head but mostly in the back of head I never usually gets headaches should be concerned
One of the side effects of a epidural injection is a headache. It is no cause for concern , It is normal. There are mild changes in your CSF(the fluid that supports your brain and spinal cord) flow post an injection which the body corrects with time. Adequate rest and plenty of fluids should be enough. You should consume atleast 8-10 glasses of water daily as dehydration would aggravate the headache. Thank you for your query.
