Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an Mri scan today as I had bumped my head a few days ago and have been experiencing headaches. I am female,51 years old. I had a single small area of high T2 score in left frontal lobe deep white matter which is non specific and not thought to be significant. I see the neurologist tomorrow. What does it mean? I have been aware of memory problems for a while and maybe some cognitive impairment? I get very stressed and over whelmed easily.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, MRI may not be suggestive of any abnormality but it could be nonspecific one it even not being correlated with the clinical history and it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
