What Causes Headache While Treating UTI And E.coli?

thank you...My husband who is 61 working and active was just diagnosis with E.coli. He came down with a UTI infection and 102.9 fever wasnsn t sure until we heard from the lab today what he had. He s been sick for about 8 days. He is now on Cipro.twice a day. How do you get it? What does it do to you and can it affect other areas of the body. Why does he have such a headache.

I understand your concern.
As he is having urinary tract infection with 102° fever, that's why he is having headache. Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic, it is a good antibiotic for treating UTI. It is taken after meals. Take as advised by your treating physician, i.e. Two times daily (after breakfast and then after dinner)
He can take it safely, it will not produce any side effects unless you have any previous history of allergy to this medicine.
