Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of headache, vertigo and hearing loss in one ear. Well sometimes infection occurs due to reasons like meniere's disease , local or generalized alteration in blood pressure , inner ear infection and it leads to these symptoms. It could be due to sensorineural hearing loss. Need not to worry. You should not touch or prick ear with any sharp instrument. You should maintain cleanliness of area. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper diagnosis. Doctor will examine with otoscope , order CT scan, hearing loss tests and MRI. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics at least for 10 days along with anti inflammatory medications. Doctor may prescribe hearing aid. Doctor may also consider surgery if there is any defect .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best wishes,
