What Causes Headache Post A Sound Sleep?

I am 50 years old,6feet 1inch and weigh 240lbs. just recently i've been woken after a sound sleep with a extremly painful headache. I have to get up and sit about 2 hrs, to relieve this. It may not come back for a day or so. Do you know what could cause this? Thanks Orville

Hi

I understand your concern.

Take analgesic and inflammatory medicines like paracetamol and diclofenac when you have headache.

Following investigation will helpful to find proper cause.

1. blood pressure.
2. eye sight check up and fundus examination.
3. Ct scan.

But if it is more trouble some and not improve even with medicines then go for above mentioned tests.

Consult physician if require.

Still have a query then feel free to ask.

happy to help you.
