What Causes Headache In The Morning?

When I sleep on my side - whether right or left - I wake up in the morning with that side of the head feeling top heavy and pulling me over. This persists for several hours. I usually also have a pain in that side of the head. What is the cause please?

Hi

I had gone through your query.

Early morning headache may be due to congestion in ear or nose.

Sinusitis or common cold may increase congestion and ultimately it can lead to headache.

Cold air or coldness while you sleep may increase congestion in frontal sinus.

Decongestant medicines with analgesic medicine may help.

take precaution while you sleep.

Apply ear plug while you sleep.

Consult ENT specialist for detail evaluation if require.
In this case prevention is better than treatment.

still have query then feel free to ask me directly on http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-vishal-garala/68046

Thank you.
