What Causes Headache In A Person With Eye Problems?

My 15 year old daughter has been suffering with headaches for a while now. She has keratoconus and has had a cross linking done on both eyes. she now wears hard contact lenses. she is still suffering from headaches. she had one yesterday, sharp pain in her eye ( the opthamologist says nothing to do with her eye), went to bed last night ( she has tripolene 10mg), every night. she woke up this morning, with some relief but still has a sensation behind the eye which will propably develop into a headache later on. Please help.

Hello
It seems from the history that your daughter is having keratoconus and headache.
Headache in keratoconus can be because of refractive error induced by refractive error or because of acute hydrops of keratoconus.
If these two things are ruled out the headache can be because of other causes like migraine, secondary to sinusitis....
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
