What Causes Headache, Fever, Abdominal Cramps After Postpartum?
Hi I m 8 weeks postpartum, stopped bleeding at 6 weeks with clots and 1 size of plum. I went A&E but gyne wasn t really concern so no scan/ultrasound for me. I had a fever last night 101.2F with minor headache and minor abdominal cramps but fever is gone now. I am feeling fine now but shall I be concern? or should this be a sign of infections?

Hi,
Any fever within 12 weeks postpartum should be ruled out because intrauterine infections are common after delivery. Please get blood counts CRP blood culture, vaginal swab culture and get started on antibiotics.
