What Causes Headache, Dizziness And Blocked Nose?

Hi, I am having headache and when i breath in heavily through my nose, I would feel a pulling pain behind my head and part of my neck.And i also get dizzy and blocked nose but no cold, and sometimes i feel that my ears are blocked too. What could this be?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have headache, dizziness and blocked nose . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sinusitis , eustachian tube dysfunction , ear infection or condition like meniere's disease . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist before infection spread and make certain complications . Doctor may order CT scan for sinusitis , examination with laryngoscope , endoscopy to rule out ear infection and eustachian tube dysfunction . Doctor may also order throat swab test or viral culture test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin or penicillin at least for a week along with antiemetic and anti inflammatory , decongestant and expectorant . For now take steam , do not bend forward and do warm saline gargles several times a day .
