What Causes Headache And Watery Eye?

For the past few days I have had a dull not outright painful (normal) headache concentrated just above my left eyebrow area & lower forehead just to the top left side of eyebrow & if I touch or apply slight pressure with fingers to the area it feels very tender. I also find at night my left eye seems slightly weeping from the corner. It can at times go away during the day but is worse in the morning or evening if lying down. I have not had a cold or flue & do not suffer from hay fever (its winter now anyway). When I blow my nose the mucus is normal & I have no severe coughs. Paracetamol & over the counter pain killers seem to ineffective to it.

Hello,

In my opinion, sinusitis should be considered and evaluated further. An x-ray of the sinuses and ENT Doctor evaluation is necessary. If confirmed then antibiotics may be necessary.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Erion Spaho, Neurologist
