General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Head ache and dizziness while having fever can be most likely due to dehydration. Even hemorrhagic fevers with low platelet count also can have such symptoms. In such case better to run blood routine and platelet count. Low platelet count in hemorrhagic fevers can be dangerous also. So better to consult a physician. Give her more fluids. If she is unable to take fluids and dehydration is present intravenous fluid administration will be needed. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
