What Causes Headache And Dizziness Suddenly In The Morning?
As soon as I got up this morning, I felt extrememly dizzy - so much so that I needed to lie down again. I am up now but still quite dizzy and so very sleepy and with a very slight headache. I take 5 mg of lisinopril each morning and 5mg of simvastatin at night. the only thing I did differently in the last 24 hours was to take two TYlenol PM before bed last night instead of my regular two benadryl (helps me to fall asleep better). Over a year ago my doc dx d me with pre-diabetes but at last check up, I m holding steady at 5.7. Right now, I could really just go back to sleep
First of all, benadryl can cause morning tiredness. So, you should stop it forever. Second, the hormonal therapy for women either for contraception or replacing therapy can cause similar symptoms if the the dose is high. Third, the medical treatment for hypertension is not sufficient, unless you decrease salt and fat intake and stop smoking and drinking. The pre-diabetes condition needs healthy food and regular check of liver and kidney functions, besides doing an Echo and an ECG on the heart. Finally, Simvastatin should be taken at 5 to 6 o'clock in the evening. One of this drug side effect is muscle weakness.
