What Causes Headache And Body Ache While Having High ESR Count?

Sir, My wife was suffering from high fever, sever headache, bachache. After 5 days antibiotic treatment fever is cured. but headache & bodyache is persisting even after 10 days. doctor suggested MRI of brain & Spine. Blood CBC was normal. other tests like maleria, Dengue , Typhoide were normal. ESR Count is high since last one year. now is 95. Also suffering from Arthritis since Last three years. Now doctor disguised starting of TB at L5. He started AKT 4 since last 4 days. Now headache reduces in the morning but again starts at 3 am in night. body ache is persisting. also problem in passing urine. pain in the eyebro area. is medication proper . what other tests should we do. what is the reason for sever headache. Pl. suggest.

With history of recent diagnosis of TB at L5 there is a possibility of Spread of TB to Brain ( more specifically Meninges ) This condition is called as TB Meningitis.
Though the treatment for TB Meningitis is the same AKT4 she requires an additional Steroid Injections also ( if TB Meningitis is confirmed )

For the confirmation of diagnosis she has to undergo a test called CSF analysis where small quantity of Fluid is collected from spine and sent for analysis . Ask your doctor to do this test and send CSF for TB PCR.
