What Causes Headache Along With Tingling Sensation In The Face?

My husband 57, is having a mild headache, tingling in face and lips, pain in tooth on left side of face. He also has a problem with balance, dizziness, and extreme fatigue for the last few days. He has hed triple bypass at 45. He has 5 stents and never has the usual symptoms when his arteries are closing. Could these be symptoms of an artery closing or does it sound like something else to you?

As per your query, you have symptoms of headache along with tingling sensation in the face which is mainly because of facial nerve inflammation as it supplies to area around neck, jaw, cheek and head. It could be related to systemic causes as well.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit oral surgeon once and get it examined to rule out nerve compression and other conditions like neuropathy.

If it is really painful, then you go for steroid injection in trigeminal ganglion from where this nerve arises. Go for mouth stretching exercises. Try to whistle and blow out and blow in. Take it for muscle relaxants to lower down weakness. Your symptoms will resolve its own.
