Hi,

The recent tests you have done are quite sensitive and accurate so because they are negative you do not have to worry about HIV. Infections seem like HIV because HIV in itself appears with infections and has symptoms related to certain infections and not generally specific symptoms related to HIV. In your case because latest tests are normal, the risk for HIV is very unlikely.

Mononucleosis is a viral infection but might cause symptoms that last for several weeks, up to 3 months. You may need to see your doctor and have the tests for it to make sure if this is the cause.
Other causes would be more rare but more important like tuberculosis and lymphoma which cause a lot of night sweat.
You may have a chest xray and a thorough examination and check of your armpits, neck, groin areas and sometimes the doctors might ask for CT s can examination to rule lymhoma out if your symptoms go on.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
