What Causes Hard Stools With Blood In Infants?

Hello Doctor...I have a 5 month and a half month old baby. From past few days he is passing very hard stools and yesterday i found a pinch of blood stain. He is purely on mother's milk also we are giving him Raagi Cheery twice a day [Morning and night]. Is this cause to worry? can we provide him water which would bring this in control?[Already we are giving approximately 10-12 spoons of water].
2)Also when ever he drinks drinks my milk or raagi cherry even after burping he pukes in large quantity when he turn over and crawl.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Har stools and blood in stools , possibility of anal fissure is to be considered.
I would suggest you to consult Pedaitrician for ruling it out.
I would advise to give onlu exclusive breast feeding till 6 months of age.
In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
