What Causes Hard Lumps On Calf And Ankle?

Hi. I have 2 hard knots both are about the size of a pencil eraser. One is on my left calf right below my knee and the other is on the front of my ankle on my right leg. Haven t been to the doctor about it yet but just want to know if I should be concerned.

Dear thanks for choosing HCM.

This is most probably lipoma (lipid lumps). You don't need to do anything. It is a common finding in large number of people who are absolutely healthy. You need to observe following
Pain
Sudden increase in sixe
Loss of sensation on and below the lumps
Changes in skin on lump like pigments, stretching of skin, redness, loss of hairs

If you don't notice any of these, breath easy. However if you still want to be more sure visit a general surgeon.
