What Causes Hard Lump On Head Post Injury With Normal CAT Scan?

I slipped on the ice about 6 weeks ago and banged my head so hard that it swelled to the size of a lacrosse ball (no exaggeration). The CAT scan was negative but now I have a bald spot about 1.5" square on the back of my head. Will the hair grow back?

Did you apply any cteam or lotion on the site of swelling. Because simple swelling doesn't cause hair problem. And as it is causing it wil be better u see a dermatologist for that.
