What Causes Hard Lump Near The Ear And Painful Mouth Opening?

hi i been having on the right side cheek , i been having tightness around the jaw i could barely open my mouth . also sever dry mouth. I noticed i have a small hard lump right there the pain extend to my ear and cause head pain and neck pain, beside numbness in that side. I have seen oral surgeon, dentist they don't seem to find the problem they said slight inflammation. I have been wondering if it could be the parotid gland

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain pain on cheek along with swelling and difficulty in opening mouth and dry mouth can occur due to disorders related to Parotid gland while it can also be due to inflamed gum flap over the wisdom tooth leading to Pericoronitis..
It can also be due jaw joint disorders known as TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT DISORDER..

You should get a full mouth x rays done known as ORTHOPANTOMOGRAM or OPG to rule out problems related to wisdom tooth to jaw joint..
An MRI of Salivary Glands can also be done to rule out disorders related to Salivary Glands..
Treatment can be planned accordingly..

As of you can take higher painkillers like TRAMADOL to relieve pain..
