What Causes Hard Bump Behind The Ear?
Hi I have a 7 yr old son whom came home with a hard bump behind his ear, when I ask him how it happen or if it hurt.. He told me he hit it in school, but I didn't believe him... So I waited to see if it will go away as any bump over days. No! I check today and it still there hard like seem to be on a bone.

Hi , the hard lump is the post auricular lymph nodes.
It is present behind the ear. It becomes enlarged if there is any infection in scalp or any other lesion in neck and scalp.
Swelling may reduce in size ovdr the time or some times may not.
Ifvit is causing pain thwn u need treatment, if not not needed.
