What Causes Hallucinations While On Valtrex And Lyrica?

My mom is 82 she was diagnosed with shingles on Thursday and given valtrex and lyrica. Her kidneys are functioning at 19 and her heart at about 25. She seems to be hallucinating and very forgetful. Should we stop the medication until we can get her back to the doctor tomorrow? The dosages are lyrica twice a day and the valtrex every 8 hours. The valtrex we have started giving her 1/2 the dosage every 8 hours as of yesterday evening at 5 because of the holidays we haven t been able to see her regular doctors.

hallo dear i would like to divulge this that lyrica is not metabolised by liver roughly 90% of the drug is released in the
urine ,it means that kidney impairment may have significant effect on medication .
hallucinations are known effects of valacyclovir and it also produce renal damage ,and already the kidney functions at 19 so i think it is better to stop it and lyrica can be continued in lower dosages .wish u good luck.
