My daughter just showed me a very disturbing video of my grand daughter. My grand daughter had taken a video of herself with red paint/ marker, depicting blood, all over her face, wielding a large steak knife, which she was waving around her face, and putting in her mouth to lick off and on. Her facial expression was almost that of enjoyment and fixation in what sh was doing. Both my husband and I are very shooken by it and made her promise to call a pediatric psychotherapist who I had looked up. My grand daughter had told the father and also his parents and showed them the video a couple days ago. They did not seem too concerned, though dad yelled at her, saying she should not be putting a knife in her mouth. She has also been seeing faces and things in her room at night, and actually says she hears voices also. She is getting bullied terribly at school which I question is the cause of her behavior or perhaps her not wanting to socialize is bringing on the bullying. Help!!!!
