Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

First of all please give yourself a lot of credit as you are doing everything in your capacity. Secondly your symptoms do sound of low moods/depression. I suggest you start focusing on your nutrition first. Secondly please start some form of home exercises/deep breathing exercises/yoga, which will further help you to combat these low moods. And thirdly, only when you are fit and healthy and happy can you make everyone around you especially your son happy and look after him well. I suggest you kindly visit your concerned doctor to get yourself thoroughly evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Smruti Pevekar

I am not an overweight person. When gain a few pounds, an easy thing to do, I always try to lose it right away. Losing it is never easy, but I do. In the last month, I have lost 5 pounds without dieting. Ts has never happened. I ve also had a decreased appetite. In the last couple months I ve also experienced above average hair loss. I am also experiencing fatigue and hot flashes with a sour smelling perspiration. I never have hot flashes. I went through menopause 22 years ago and hardly had hot flashes. I am a 65 year old female, have exercised regularly since I was in my 30s. My hour workouts are now down to 30 minutes because of the fatigue I am experiencing. I eat healthy and try to avoid sugar and starch. I get plenty of protein. I also have osteoarthritis.
