Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi,

Dark pigmented skin, is a symptoms suggestive of Addison disease, or adrenal insufficiency. Under active thyroid at your age, has an autoimmune origin and you should be under close monitoring for other autoimmune diseases too. Addison disease may be one of them. I would suggest to check cortisol level and discuss with your treating physician about the above diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
Dr. MIrjeta
