What Causes Hair Fall And Itching In Hands And Feet When On Estraderm Patch?

yes im 67 years old and i was on the Estraderm Patch 0.1 % sice 1984 with no problems . Im now taking Viville- Dot and my hair is coming out feet and hands are itching. i also feel numb on the right side. ive been on this medication since 2012. please help

Welcome and thank for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for hair fall and itching in hands and feet. Estraderm Patch contains Estradiol Patch in it and it do not appear to be the main cause for your hair fall as well as itching problem.

As you are 67 years of age so it is quite possible to have age related hair fall and dryness. it is due to mild nutritional deficiency in hair problem and dryness of skin for itchig.

In my patient s with your kind of problem I suggest you to take antioxidant and multivitamin tablet.

For itching I prefer antihistamine tablet such as loratadine or cetrizine for 1-2 times.
