A week ago today I had an angiogram done and now I have a small haematoma in my thigh. My doctor has just said rest. But I am flying locally on Sunday, will it be ok, or should I also go and buy some travel stockings for my legs. I am 46years old. 152h 75kg weight. I no sign of heart disease I have an artery that is spasming but not all the time.

I read your query and I understand your concern.

Haematoma is a common complication after an angiogram due to the puncture of a blood vessel with some leaking. I agree with your doctor that it is no cause for worry, it will be slowly absorbed and only rest is required.
The flight doesn't represent any added risk, travel stockings are to prevent venous thrombosis, while the angiogram involved the artery. It's a local flight anyway, venous thrombosis risk is related to long flights.

I hope to have been of help.
