What Causes Gums To Swell During Pregnancy?

I am 16 weeks pregnant and about a year ago I had and inlay in two teeth and a crown put in on my left side. Since being pregnant I have had some nerve sensitivity in my cheek, but no pain in my teeth. I receintly had a sinus infection and took a round of strong antibiotics but today my gums are swollen and my teeth are throbing, but no pain from pressure or eating. What is going on?

Hi, I think I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

It seems like there is a root canal or below the tooth infection. I will suggest you to use Tab Calpol 650 mg as needed.

As you have recently taken higher antibiotics, I will suggest you to consult dental surgeon.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks
Dr Purushottam Neurgaonkar.
