What Causes Growth In Throat?

I get a small bump in the back of my throat after/during eating or drinking sodas. It tends to not be irritating after about 30 minutes after eating but keeps on reoccuring and feels like there is a popcorn kernel stuck on the back of my throat. Should I be alarmed?

You need to be examined by the ENT Surgeon so that it can be properly dealt. it is difficult to comment on basis of the history.
