What Causes Greenish Or Chalky Stools?

My husband has been on lexapro for 10 days, Xanax as needed. He has a couple of diverticulitis and is having a flare up. He started an antibiotic this morning. Yesterday his stools were kinda of greenish and chalky. Today they have all been chalky. Is it the medicine or the diverticulitis?
