What Causes Greenish Mucus Like Rectal Discharge In Children?
Hello. I was worried about my 2 yr old son. I changed him today and noticed a greenish muscus like substance on the bottom of his leg. After inspecting him, I noticed a little on the outside of his butt, his rectum. What can cause rectal diacharge in children?

I really appreciate your concern for you son and I would like to say that such greenish stool is normal in this age group of 2 years old, in very rare case this could be due to viral infection but it may associated with some other symptoms, this is nothing to worry wait for some time it would be fine, this is not the discharge but may be defecation it self, and this is nothing to worry, have a nice day.
