Hi Patricia,

I understand your concern. The green discharge you are experiencing is due to a common genital infection called Bacterial Vaginosis. BV is a mild infection of the vagina caused by an overgrowth of a certain type of germs which are normally present in the genital tract. The causes for this infection are not clear but it is considered a mild infection that may go away without treatment within a few days.
However, as a patient, I would strongly recommend you see a doctor and get a physical examination and a sample of the discharge for further examination and treatment. Although a mild infection, Bacterial Vaginosis still carries potential risks for complications.

Wishing you good health and all the best.
