What Causes Green Stool?
I had fever for 15 days between 100-104 F. On first week my widal titre shoed S Typhi O 1/80 and S Typhi H 1/80. Since I had typhoid 3 years back so, doctor called it viral fever and I underwent treatment with levofloxacin for 10 days after which my fever struck between 99-100F . Then again widal test was performed and it was STyphi O 1/160 and STyphi H 1/160. Then doctor prescribed chloamphenicol for 10 days. On 12th day I again underwent widal test. I had no fever but, a little headache and green stool but, my widal report showed S Typhi OH 1/960. Then I underwent three day ceftriaxone injection and now undergoing treatment with Prulifloxacin. I have no headache now, but still have that green stool. When this green stool can end?

antibiotic overdose can cause green stools
severe infections can cause green stools
it might take some time to subside.stopping antibiotics and taking probiotics will be a better solution for this.
