What Causes Green Foul Smelling Stools In An Infant?

My 3 month old baby is exclusively breastfed and started having dark green stools with white curds. She also became more fussy than normal. The stools have also started to have a foul odor. She also started having problems latching. I eliminated dairy from my diet and the fussiness and feeding problems greatly reduced. However the green stools and foul odor remain. She has also had a seemingly incurable oral yeast infection for over two months. 1) should I be worried about her green stools? 2) how would you recommend curing the trust in her and my beasts. We ve already tried gentian violet and diflucan. Thank you

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is green stool then this could be due to some infection and these could be either viral or protozoa and this need to be ruled out, and for that you need to get done the stool examination, for the fungal infection "Gentian violet" may not work and you need to use specific antifungal cream but infection need to be confirmed first, hope this information helps, take care.
I find this answer helpful
