What Causes Gray Vomit While Treating Liver Autoimmune Disease?
My daughter has chronic liver inflamation and recently been diagnosed with autoimmune Iiver disease she seen a doctor two days ago due to her sleepiness and bloods were ok she has continued to seem unwell and randomly falling asleep but now thismornng had one episode of grey vomit i have held all her medicnes off that she usually has and feed her something again now before giving it her. She had eaten but no food came up just grey fluid am i to be concerned about this or wait to see if it happens again. Thanks
As long as no blood is present with the vomit content, there is no reason to rush in the ER. If you notice blood (brown or red content) with the vomits, or she continues to throw up or have new symptoms coming up she will need to see her doctor.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
