What Causes Gastritis And Flatulence After A Bladder Biopsy?

I had a urethral dilatation with bladder biopsy done last Thursday under general anaesthesia. Since after the surgery, I have been having lots of gas, flatulence, and constipation, plus bloating. I am vegetarian, so I eat lots of fiber and drink lots of water... and I took 2 tabs of the exlax chocolate. Then 12 HOURS later, I was still SO constipated that I pushed thru a very big stool once but still feel like my bowels are not clear, then thruout the day, I had little bits of runny diarrhea from the ex-lax... and then passed another big lump of stool... and now I still feel bloated and weighed down and not emptied... what should I do? Should I be worried about a stool impaction?
